My name is Chris Daines

I am launching my campaign for District Attorney of Cache County.

I have practiced law in the trenches for over four decades, over

thirty years of which have been right here in Cache County.

For the last 15 years straight, I have been leading the law firm of

Daines, Thomas & Smith, LLP.

In a short time, the office of District Attorney of Cache County will be

vacant.

During the last five years, five different lawyers have occupied

that position.

This is abnormal for what should be a four-year term.

This position is too important to be filled only in short spurts by

inexperienced lawyers.

In the absence of steady and seasoned leadership, the office of

Cache County Attorney has been essentially rudderless,

hampering those who work in the office, those who work

directly with the office, and, consequently, the people of Cache

County.

With your support, we will end the revolving door and restore

stability to the position of District Attorney of Cache County.
